This study examines the marital consequences of infertility in infertile women. It has been conducted, using a qualitative approach and contextual theory method. The target population has primary been infertile women between the age of 25 and 40 who face infertility problems and do meet the following criteria: at least 5 years of cohabitation experience, at least two years of infertility treatment, and at least one IowaF failure. Accordingly, through theoretical sampling twenty-one cases have been studied. The theoretical sampling has continued until data saturation. The data has been gathered through interviews, with data analysis being performed by open, axial, and selective coding methods. The findings show that the consequence of infertility in marital life are 8 main categories, namely transition from a main subject to marginal ones, objectification of the second wife, the victim role, agonized separation, transformation in the husband, the fantasy of love, infertility as a problematic platform, and existential loneliness. A core category has been identified as “victimizer victims”, a notion that refers to the idea that infertile women may, over time, experience their husband's remarriage or a desire to remarry as a result of their infertility, particularly cultural consequences. The findings generally indicated that infertile women are concerned about their husbands' remarriage and, in some cases, the wife's support for the husband's remarriage to have children only to divorce the second wife. Thus, infertile women are psychologically disturbed, as well as in their marital relationships.

Gender narrative analysis of divorce is resulted from the investigation about the issue of a triple point including narration of individuals who wants to get married, structure of gender and the institution of family. Consequently, this triple points show the place and the influence of the structure of gender in prescribed identity of individual under its influence Therefore, this paper apply narrative analysis approach with 30 men and women participants who have at least one experience of marriage and divorce. The result indicates that gender and its late transition in social actor's mentality counteract with the institution of family has great influence on the dissolution of family. Social actors, especially women, in their new interpretation of the meaning of gender have found it in contrast with family that made them decide to stay or leave. Therefore, the encounter of the evolved gender and the somehow fixed family form is the cause of divorce in middle range level that needs more and deeper investigation.

The growth of divorce in Iranian society and its negative consequences have made it necessary to pay attention to this social problem. The purpose of this study is to present strategies to reduce divorce and its negative consequences. For this purpose, we have used qualitative meta-analysis method, by examining 70 selected divorce studies in the last two decades (1998-2018), it has classified the factors of divorce and its negative consequences and then presented strategies for reducing the divorce and its negative consequences. Based on the findings, the factors of divorce can be classified into four categories of incorrect spouse choice, lack of knowledge and skills of spouses and maladaptation, bad performance of spouses, and adverse economic conditions. Accordingly, we can propose solutions based on training courses and consulting services by the responsible entities, and obligation of spouses to participation. We have also studied the negative consequences of divorce for women and children. Solutions to reduce these consequences are including eliminate legal challenges, teaching parents to minimize divorce harms for children, providing counseling services, culturalization and family support for divorced women, and reforming society's attitude to divorced women and their children.

Marriage and divorce can be related to economic, sexual and institutional issues that make it easier or more difficult to create or maintain a new married life. In this study, the impact of economic variables on smooth and stochastic trends of marriage and divorce, with emphasis on sexual ratios and literacy rate control channels has been analyzed using Autoregressive Distributed Lag model and Kalman filter during 1969-2016 in Iran,. The results show that there is a significant and positive relationship between smooth divorce process and economic variables. Importantly, sexual ratio and literacy rate control channels are the channels that allow for accurate interpretations of unemployment and inflation on the smooth divorce process. In addition, sexual ratio and literacy rate have a positive and significant effect on the smooth marriage process. Therefore, the emphasis on gender-based alerting mechanism and literacy rate planning can have a double and synergic effect on improving the marriage process in Iran. Therefore, shaping family in Iran is particularly influenced by gender control channels (especially sexual ratio) and institutional control channels (especially literacy rates) but the decision to divorce can be influenced by inflation and unemployment in addition to gender and institutional variables.

The increasing trend of divorce during recent decade and consequently a rise in the number of men and women who have experienced divorce, clarifies the importance of paying attention to post-divorce life. However the study of how divorced subjects deal with life after divorce and also their perception, especially with a gender approach has been a neglected area in the Iranian sociology. Therefore the present research attempts to adopt a quantitative methodology and to apply in depth semi structured interviews with 36 divorced men and women in Tehran to discover the perception of subjects of different aspects of life after divorce and gender differences, in the way people deal with the situation.
The results show that with divorce several changes develop in various aspects of life of actors. Therefore actors should take new interaction policies in the areas of emotional, sexual, economic, psychological, relational, social, parenting, and home management in their lives. Also, gender culture, gender inequality in access to a variety of investments, legal distinctions, differences in habits, gender roles, distinctive sense of community of men and women, lead in various interactions and deal differently with divorce when it happens. The results indicate that, women compared to men experience different aftermaths of divorce and, by and large, they face with doubled challenges.

This study aims to offer a sociological explanation of influential factors on the rate of tendency toward divorce in Kermanshah City. A combination of Homogamy theory, Exchange theory, and Network theory is used as the theoretical framework of the study. The study has been conducted via survey method and data is collected through questionnaire and interview. The statistical sample of study consists of the couples who had referred to Family Court in Kermanshah City to file for divorce during 2006.
Overall, 364 people (182 men and 182 women) are chosen through systematic random sampling method. Dependent variable is the rate of tendency toward divorce. Impacts of independent variables, including interference of others in the couple's marital life; disability of satisfying the spouse's expectation, having positive imagination about divorce outcomes, on the dependant variable is measured through statistical techniques, based on SPSS.
The results of the study show that almost half of the couples reported medium tendency towards divorce, whereas only 9 percent of couples had a strong tendency. Multivariate Regression Analysis reveals that tendency towards divorce is under direct influence of such variables as disability in satisfying spouse’s expectations, having positive imagination about divorce outcomes, and interference of others in couple’s marital life. Furthermore, such variable as age-related differences, educational differences, and opinion-related differences of couples have indirect effect on tendency towards divorce, through increasing disability in satisfying mate’s expectations. Interference of others in couple’s marital life has the strongest influence on tendency toward divorce.

The aim of the present article is to report the findings of a study on the condition of divorce that is Osre-o-Hara}. Woman can request divorce for the hardships in her married life (Osre-o-Hara}). When the life is impossible to continue and women can not tolerate anymore, she has the right to ask for divorce. The article of 1130 of Civil Code emphasizes; when the hardship is proved in the court, the husband has to divorce his wife. If he resists, the judge can divorce her. Considering the importance of Osr-o¬Hara}, few questions should be raised:
1. What is the status of Osre-o-Hara} in the Iranian legal system? What are the conditions for its implementation? In what circumstances women can file a request for divorce?
2. What types of problems and deficiencies are raised due to the generality of the concept? Is it a good solution to the problem? Is it able to provide judicial security in the family relations?
The available information demonstrates women's difficulties in proving hardship. Also Judges issue different verdicts based on their interpretation of the concept.
