Despite the significant capabilities of women and the substantial achievements facilitating female labor force participation in the recent years (such as substantial increase both in women's university education and in their mean age at marriage, a significant fall in fertility rate, and the increasing trend in positive attitude towards women's work outside the home), women in Iran still hold a low level of employment. The low rate of women's employment mainly lies in socio-cultural circumstances that are reproduced by educational systems and school-textbooks.Using the content analysis technique, this article highlights the main patterns and characteristics of women's employment represented in the textbooks of three levels of the Iranian schools: primary, intermediate, and high schools. In general, the results of this study show that the traditional pattern of gender roles inside and outside the home and the male breadwinner model (McDonald 2000) has been evidently represented in the textbooks. According to the results, there are two other key characteristics for women's employment. First, working women are represented in very limited types of work. Second, they often deal with their same-sex clients. Finally, the results show that these patterns vary partly in terms of the title of the textbooks and the three levels of schools.}, keywords = {educational system,gender roles,school-textbooks,Socialization,Women's employment}, title_fa = {بازنمایی الگوهای اشتغال زنان در متون درسی ایران}, abstract_fa = {افزایش چشمگیر میزان اشتغال زنان در جهان از نیمه دوم قرن بیستم به بعد، به عنوان مهم‌ترین مشخصه «انقلاب در نقش‌های جنسیتی» نامیده شده است (دیویس 1984، کوتر و همکاران 2001). در ایران، علی‌رغم توانمندی‌های قابل توجه زنان و پیشرفت‌های برجسته‌ای که طی سال‌های اخیر در خصوص عناصر زمینه‌ساز افزایش مشارکت آنان در بازار کار به وقوع پیوسته است (مانند افزایش تحصیلات زنان به ویژه تحصیلات دانشگاهی، افزایش میانگین سن ازدواج، کاهش سطح باروری و روند فزاینده نگرش موافق با اشتغال زنان)، میزان مشارکت زنان در بازار کار همچنان پایین است. معمولاً سطح پایین اشتغال زنان به میزان قابل ملاحظه‌ای ریشه در زمینه‌های اجتماعی و فرهنگی دارد که از طریق سیستم‌های آموزشی و متون درسی بازتولید می‌شود. در این تحقیق با استفاده از تکنیک تحلیل محتوا، مهم‌ترین الگوها و ویژگی‌های اشتغال زنان در متن و تصاویر کتاب‌های درسی سه مقطع تحصیلی ابتدایی، راهنمایی و دبیرستان مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته است. مطابق نتایج این تحقیق، الگوی سنتی تفکیک نقش‌های جنسیتی داخل و خارج خانه و مدل «مرد، نان آور خانوار» (مک دونالد 2000) به وضوح در این کتاب‌های درسی بازنمایی شده است. تنوع شغلی بسیار محدود و همجنس بودن افرادی که زنان شاغل با آنان سروکار دارند، نیز از مهم‌ترین ویژگی‌های بازنمایی اشتغال زنان در کتاب‌های درسی محسوب می‌شود. به علاوه، تفاوت‌های مهم و قابل ملاحظه‌ای در خصوص الگوها و ویژگی‌های اشتغال زنان بر حسب مقاطع تحصیلی، پایه تحصیلی و عناوین کتاب‌های درسی در این تحقیق مشاهده گردید.}, keywords_fa = {اشتغال زنان,جامعه پذیری,سیستم آموزشی,کتاب‌های درسی,نقش‌های جنسیتی}, url = {https://jwdp.ut.ac.ir/article_22987.html}, eprint = {https://jwdp.ut.ac.ir/article_22987_be43087dd7b2fde22c30bf18d997dcf1.pdf} }
