The lack of career advancement of women in organizations can lead to several negative consequences such as organizational obstruction, organizational silence, and so on. This lack of career advancement of women in organizations is known as the glass cliff phenomenon. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of the glass cliff phenomenon on the formation of organizational obstruction and organizational silence with the moderating role of perceived organizational support. The type of research was descriptive, correlational, and the statistical population consisted of 412 female employees in University of Tehran that 204 one were selected as a sample. In order to collect data, four questionnaires of glass cliff, organizational silence, organizational obstruction and perceived organizational support were used. The validity of questionnaires was checked in form face, construction, convergent and divergent. Through Cronbach's alpha coefficient, the reliability of the glass cliff questionnaire was estimated 0.89, organizational silence 0.85, organizational obstruction 0.72, and perceived organizational support 0.77. The results showed that the mean of glass cliff, organizational obstruction and organizational silence was higher than average and the mean of perceived organizational support was lower than average. According to the results, the glass cliff has a positive and significant effect on organizational obstruction and organizational silence. Also, perceived organizational support has a negative & significant effect on organizational silence and organizational obstruction. In addition, the moderating role of perceived organizational support in the effect of the glass cliff on organizational obstruction and organizational silence was confirmed.

Like the rest of the world, paying attention to health dimensions, especially social health and its elements, has become essential in Iran's society. Moreover, the recent decade has been witness to a wave of women entering universities and their demand for job.Since job, as a main social determinant, affects health, and women's health brings family and eventually social health, we intended to probe the impact of job on social health of females. The statistical population included employed female students studying in Alzahra University. The sample size was determined to be 111 subjects who were selected from different faculties using cluster sample method. This was a sectional survey study and the information was collected using self-made questionnaire and social health standard scale; then the data were analyzed by using spss software. The suitability of job conditions (wages and benefits, job security, organizational support, growth and prosperity at work, etc.) had the highest effect on the students' social health. In addition, results indicated the effect of casual mechanisms of financial independence, social relations, social support, self-esteem, and social status on social health of employed people. Among the underlying variables, age, marital status, and type of living place were significantly correlated with social health. Finally, the type of job (in terms of rank and status) did' not have any major correlation with students' social health. Employment does not change one's social health. The main things affecting social health are occupational components including the type of job, suitability of job conditions, and social-mental capabilities (consequences of job).

Networking and entering into official and unofficial networks is the main way for individuals to get promoted in organizations. So entering into academic networks at universities has become a challenge for people who would like to promote their academic position. In Iran despite a notable increase in the women’s presence in universities, their entrance into academic networks and promoting their position as an academic member has remained to be a problem. Applying a qualitative method and the Ground Theory, the present research tries to study the challenges ahead of women to enter male academic networks at universities. 18 professors have been selected through purposive sampling and snow ball method. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and Strauss & Corbin’s constant comparative method. The research findings suggest that the most important obstacles to women’s entry to male academic network of universities are legal, cultural and family problems among others.
